Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you have an independent role where our care recipients are at the center based on the care they need. You collaborate in a team with nursing assistants, rehabilitation teams, and doctors from the health center. You also work in networks with other nurses in the municipality. You are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on health care interventions, medication management, specific nursing care, and documentation. You also provide support and guidance to nursing staff. The work may also involve meeting individuals in a palliative phase of life, where your task is to create good care during the last moments of life for both the patient and their loved ones.

The Workplace

Ängsgården is a dementia care facility that was built in 2019. It has room for 60 residents, and you will work alongside three experienced colleagues at present.

The working hours are primarily during the day, but you will also work on-call with colleagues. Currently, we work about 5 weekday evenings and 2 weekends over 10 weeks.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse (preferably with further education in geriatrics). If you have experience working within social services, it may be an advantage. We are looking for someone who enjoys development and sees opportunities and solutions in daily work. We expect you to have a good demeanor, be flexible, and possess well-developed planning and collaboration skills as the work involves contacts with care recipients, relatives, and staff.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A B driver's license is required for the position.

More about the Position

We offer you a permanent position at 100% with a start date according to agreement.
