Assistant in Process Metallurgy

We are looking for an assistant placed in the research area of process metallurgy, which belongs to the Department of Civil Engineering and Natural Resources.
Job Responsibilities
The work as an assistant involves tasks related to research in the field of process metallurgy. This may include conducting laboratory experiments, assisting in setting up experiments, compiling experimental data, and writing technical/scientific reports.
Qualifications and Experience
You must be enrolled in the Master's program in Sustainable Process and Chemical Engineering and have completed at least 9 semesters. You should be able to demonstrate good academic results in courses relevant to your graduation. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Conditions
Employment as an assistant is regulated by the Higher Education Ordinance Chapter 5. Only those who are admitted to education at the undergraduate or advanced level may be employed as an assistant (HF Chapter 5 §10).
Hourly Wage/Compensation
Individual salary setting based on experience.
Information
The position covers 50% of full-time, i.e., an average of 2.5 days a week for 6 months, from April 14, 2025, to October 13, 2025, or by agreement. The place of work is Luleå.
The workload may vary over time and by agreement, but the goal is to distribute it in a way that is compatible with studies at the university.
