About us:

We are part of the central operational support that handles strategic issues and overarching management questions within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO).

Our task is to develop and strategically manage the total purchasing volume for SLSO, which amounts to approximately 2 billion SEK per year. Our unit, procurement and purchasing support, currently consists of 15 people with various roles; purchasers, contract controllers, buyers, and system administrators. Today, there are three people in the role of buyers. We are now looking for a junior colleague in the role of buyer, who will also serve as a backup for our system administrator for Clockwork.

The unit is responsible for procurements and contracts within SLSO. In addition, we participate in coordinated procurements within Region Stockholm and assist our operations with support and answers to questions regarding purchasing, procurement, and contracts. We have a clear customer focus where the operations are our customers. The goal is to make business-like procurements and facilitate for the operations when they make purchases.

About the position:

The role consists of both being a junior buyer and a backup for our system administrator for Clockwork. The buyer is an operational role where you have direct contact with the operations daily. As a buyer, you have a support function where you handle questions from our operations via email and phone. The questions vary in nature and require that you, as a buyer, know our ordering system Clockwork, have knowledge of the existing contracts, and understand the rules that apply to purchasing. The buyers also place orders in Clockwork and in our dynamic purchasing system, and conduct direct procurements. In this role, you will also conduct renewed competitive tenders within the IT area.

As a backup for our system administrator for Clockwork, you are responsible for ensuring that there is training and guides for users. You set up and remove users, import local contracts and keep them updated, work with troubleshooting, and perform tests in connection with upgrades.

After your introduction, you are expected to manage these tasks independently.

The position is located at Torsplan and individual agreements regarding remote work are possible. The position is full-time, permanent. A probationary period may apply if necessary.

About you:

You have a high school education and at least 1 year of work experience where the tasks have been service-oriented, as well as a specific purchasing or procurement education (or equivalent).

You must be able to express yourself very well in spoken and written Swedish.

Your computer skills are good, and you have a high ability to quickly learn the systems. It is an advantage if you have experience with the Clockwork system and also some of the systems TendSign, E-avrop, Kommers, Microsoft Office, and Qlikview.

Interest in and knowledge of the IT area is an advantage, as renewed competitive tenders within the IT area are included in the tasks.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:

  • background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to current guidelines.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional certification. The same requirements are guiding for non-certified personnel with patient contact.
