UVA LIDKÖPING AB develops, markets, manufactures, installs, educates, and services grinding machines with peripheral equipment in the field of high-precision grinding and has delivered over 10,000 machines worldwide. With a long history as a leading global supplier of precision grinding machines, UVA LIDKÖPING has its headquarters and largest manufacturing unit in Lidköping, a branch office in Bromma, and wholly-owned subsidiaries in India, China, the USA, and Germany. The company has about 150 employees and generates approximately 400 million SEK annually.

Information about the program:

The training program is based on the Accelerated Learning method, which consists of shorter theoretical parts combined with practical elements to provide you with all the tools to succeed in the role. During the training, you will have a unique opportunity to quickly develop in areas such as mechatronics, electrical engineering, control systems, and programming. You will undergo a free intensive training course lasting 12 weeks, during which you will also receive a monthly training allowance (equivalent to CSN). After completing the training, you will have the opportunity for a rocket start to your new career as an automation technician!

Training period: June 23 – September 26, 2025
Leave / self-study: July 21 – August 1, 2025
First day at UVA LIDKÖPING: September 29, 2025
Scope: Full-time
Training location: Stockholm (We will assist in finding suitable accommodation if needed for weekly commuting)
Work location after training: Lidköping

The training program is a close collaboration between Professionals Nord and UVA LIDKÖPING. After completing the exam, you will be employed by us at Professionals Nord, and during the first 18 months, you will work as a consultant at UVA LIDKÖPING. Provided that the collaboration works well, the goal and intention is continued employment at UVA LIDKÖPING.

Information about the position:

At UVA LIDKÖPING, you will become part of a technology-oriented and engaged team in the company's testing department. You will be employed as a service technician to gain a good understanding of the company's grinding process, and then you will have good opportunities to further develop based on your motivations and the company's needs. You will be offered a varied everyday life where you, together with skilled colleagues, will work on the assembly and testing of machines. As you develop, you will eventually be responsible for starting up and testing machines together with the customer, and possibly traveling to the customer to install the machine. Regardless of the task, much will depend on having a solution-focused and collaborative approach, where you communicate and seek help from colleagues both within the department and in other departments.

As a new employee, you will work closely with an experienced service technician. As you learn, you will gradually work more independently, with your mentor always available in the background when questions arise.

We are looking for someone who:

• Wants to work as an automation technician and has a drive to succeed in the field.
• Is technically interested and attracted to working in a global, high-tech company.
• Is at least 18 years old.
• Holds a B driver's license.
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English.
