The forensic psychiatric clinic in Säter is responsible for highly specialized care at the county, regional, and national levels. We primarily care for patients referred for treatment under the law on forensic psychiatric care. We have a total of 78 care places divided into seven departments staffed by experienced nurses and caregivers.

The mission of forensic psychiatry is:

- To improve the patient's health/quality of life and create the right conditions to prevent recidivism.

- For the patient to accept and voluntarily participate in care and treatment.

- To tailor care individually based on the patient's need for support to manage their daily life/illness, benefiting the patient's recovery.

Nurse Night at the Forensic Psychiatric Clinic in Säter

Job Responsibilities

As a night nurse, the following tasks are included:

• Report during ongoing shifts from outgoing colleagues
• Medication management
• Meet the patients' nighttime care needs
• Respond to contacts from care staff on the wards
• Be responsible for assessment/action in case of alarms from the wards

Additionally, the night nurse is responsible for:

• redistributing staff within the clinic (if necessary)
• conducting visits to their departments even at night

Requirements:

We are looking for a licensed nurse.

Meritorious:

• Specialist training in psychiatry
• Experience in psychiatry

Personal qualities:

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills who wants to work in a team with patients as co-participants. We would like you to be interested in working with care and treatment interventions for patients. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
