Your Responsibilities

As a care assistant/nursing aide in a special accommodation, your tasks include providing personal care during personal hygiene, toilet visits, transfers, dressing and undressing, assistance during meals, activities, and laundry. As care staff, we work together to provide the elderly with good care based on individual needs; we want to make the residents' lives meaningful and stimulating. We regularly document in care journals and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings with the resident, as well as rehabilitation, unit manager, nurse, and relatives.

The Position

The position is a permanent part-time role at 75%, and the responsible manager for the role is the unit manager at Solhem.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with the elderly. Any experience in elderly care is an advantage. We welcome applicants who are studying in nursing programs. All forms of healthcare education are advantageous.

• Previous experience working in special accommodation is advantageous, as well as knowledge and/or experience working with dementia patients.
• You are accustomed to working with digital tools such as mobile phones, computers, or tablets and possess good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to document the care you provide and communicate with our residents.
• As some tasks require good physical fitness, it is important that this requirement is met.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.

We expect you to have personal maturity and be both self-driven and service-oriented. You take responsibility, are flexible, and can handle stressful situations. You are proactive and attentive to the needs of residents and show respect for others. You find it easy to collaborate with residents, relatives, colleagues, and other staff.

About the Workplace

Special accommodation is aimed at elderly individuals who can no longer live at home due to increased care and support needs. Care staff work around the clock to assist the elderly.
