Our health center offers a versatile operation with general practitioner clinics, district nurse clinics, and specialized nurse clinics in diabetes, blood pressure, asthma/COPD, risk/addiction, as well as care coordination for mental health. We also provide maternal and child health care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, rehabilitation coordination, and counseling services.

We have access to radiology, where delegated staff can perform examinations, allowing us to handle a wide variety of patient cases. We receive both scheduled visits and urgent patients during the day - an exciting and varied workday where we encounter everything from skin issues and sore throats to fractures and chest pains. With 75 km to the nearest hospital, we fulfill an important function for our patients.

Nurse/District Nurse, Health Center Malung

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged district nurse/nurse for our clinic. Here, you will encounter a wide variety of tasks, from acute situations to scheduled visits with patients of all ages. You will perform clinic work, such as dressings, infusions, and injections, vaccinations, assessments, and treatment of various conditions. You will provide medical advice via phone and chat. You will have wonderful colleagues around you. No day is the same.

We have good collaboration between different professional categories and utilize each other's various skills in daily work. Everyone needs to be flexible and help each other. The operation is conducted during the day. Training is included.

We offer a temporary position from May 1, 2025, to August 31, 2025, with a start date according to agreement and the possibility of extension.

Meritorious:

• Further education in open health care with prescribing rights
• Experience from working in primary care

Personal qualities:

You are flexible and have a good ability to work independently. You appreciate collaborating with other professional categories and agencies and are keen on having a good attitude. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
