At Ockelbo Health Center, we welcome adults and children in need of care. We have 5,500 registered patients and together we provide standard primary care with a medical clinic, child health care, family center, psychosocial team, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and home visits. With a safe and warm approach, we deliver good and close care, tailored to each unique patient. Ockelbo Health Center is part of Min vård Gävleborg, which offers digital healthcare services, an important piece in creating more accessible and equitable care. We are embarking on an exciting initiative and are now offering a unique position for you as a physician, where you will primarily work digitally and play a key role in developing and shaping our future digital working methods.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will primarily work digitally from a distance, but you are also expected to work clinically on-site at the health center for 8-10 weeks per year. These weeks are planned in consultation with your manager, with four weeks scheduled during the summer (weeks 25-33) and one week during the Christmas and New Year period (weeks 51-1). As a specialist physician with us, you will work closely with various professional groups at the health center. We are a stable and experienced staff working together towards our common mission to support, treat, and guide people to a healthier life. You will also contribute to operational development and actively participate in creating even better care for our patients.

Your main responsibilities

• standard outpatient work with urgent visits, new patient consultations, and follow-ups
• participate in medical meetings, team rounds, and provide consultative support to colleagues
• participate in a multimodal rehabilitation team for long-term sick-listed patients
• opportunity for medical responsibility for the municipality's special accommodations for the elderly (SÄBO)
• supervise AT and ST doctors as well as foreign-trained specialists during the ongoing licensing process
• during the clinical weeks you work on-site, on-call and standby duties are also included.

Furthermore, we see that you are flexible, have a strong drive, and with your knowledge and commitment, you contribute new ideas and perspectives to meet the future needs of healthcare.

For this role, you should be:

• a licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine.
