JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In our home care service Bjärke, we work from a salutogenic perspective, which means that we focus on the resources and abilities that the client has. We adapt support, care, and nursing based on individual needs.

In your role as a nursing assistant, you will work independently but also closely collaborate with your colleagues to achieve the goals of the organization. Your work also includes cooperation with relatives, the responsible nurse, rehabilitation, and the authority department.

You will work according to the Social Services Act (So) and perform delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The tasks vary depending on the client's needs. In your work, you will have a role as a Permanent Care Contact for several clients, performing tasks such as daily care and support, service, social interaction, alarm reception, and maintaining social documentation. In your role as a Permanent Care Contact, you have overall responsibility for several clients. You establish and follow up on implementation plans based on the individual's decisions, wishes, and needs. You are flexible and responsible as your workdays involve both planned and unforeseen tasks.

The position as a nursing assistant includes scheduled working hours, which means work during the day, evening, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. You are well acquainted with digital platforms and following workplace action plans, policies, and guidelines, as well as the Social Services Act paragraph SoL §1:1. The job includes cycling and driving to clients, so it is required that you can cycle and have a B driver's license.

Experience in home care or other relevant assignments within the framework of the nursing assistant role is an advantage. You should have good communication skills, adapt your language to the recipient, and act empathetically and respectfully in contact with clients, relatives, colleagues, supervisors, and other partners.

To thrive in the role, you are confident and act responsibly and independently with a clear client focus. The position also requires good physical fitness as the work is mobile and involves lifting in certain tasks. You act according to decisions made, plans, and guidelines, and contribute to their establishment and follow-up. You have a good attitude towards those you meet, enjoy creating new and good relationships, and have good collaboration skills. You are also interested in continuing to develop our operations and are flexible in changing circumstances in your work. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
