JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be based in central Boliden or Byske and perform primary care interventions for ordinary housing and the care and nursing homes associated with the geographical area. This role offers great variation and the opportunity to face new challenges every day. Together in the team, we work to support each other, and there may also be interventions within home care and nursing homes in other parts of the Norr area.
Our healthcare unit works to provide patients aged 18 and older with quality care at the primary care level in the patient's home. As a nurse with us, you will have an independent, varied job where planning and prioritization are important parts. You will work with assessment, planning, execution, and follow-up of healthcare interventions in the patient's home. Together with an engaged healthcare team, you will also guide and support other professional groups to help them grow in their professional roles. The work is mobile and changing, with many different contacts with patients and relatives, colleagues, and others within and outside the organization where the region is an important partner.
You play a crucial role in shaping person-centered care based on each patient's unique needs and wishes. With us, you will be part of a professional and dedicated group. We continuously work to improve care quality and meet the changing needs of both patients and the community.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are primarily looking for you who are a licensed nurse, or soon to be licensed. If you have previous experience working as a nurse, it is an advantage. A good subject competence and a desire to stay updated in your field are prerequisites for succeeding in the role. It is advantageous if you have completed specialist training in relevant areas.
As a person, you are independent, initiative-taking, and responsible. The work requires a careful and systematic approach, an eye for detail, and the ability to prioritize correctly. Furthermore, you possess pedagogical skills, are considerate in your interactions, and enjoy working closely in a team. A driving license (B) is a requirement.
To succeed in the role, you need to have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Skellefteå Municipality is a Finnish and Sami administrative municipality, so it is advantageous if you can speak Finnish or Sami. If you can also use sign language, we see it as an asset in our operations.

The staff of the Social Office provides care, support, and assistance to people throughout Skellefteå. They can be elderly, people with physical or mental disabilities, or individuals and families in need of special support for a period.
