Project Manager for Design at Peab Bygg Sydost

Peab Bygg Sydost is now looking for an engaged Project Manager for Design who wants to be part of our team and lead the design work to achieve desired results. It is a developing and responsible role in a secure and forward-looking organization. You will be part of the region's production support group, and the work area includes Östergötland, Jönköping, Kronoberg, Kalmar, and Gotland counties.

Responsibilities
As a Project Manager for Design, you will have overall responsibility for the design process - from the development stage to handover - and continuously support our projects in process compliance. In addition to being an important asset during ongoing production, you will also be involved in early stages and bids. You are also expected to contribute to feedback for the development of routines, processes, and tools within the design area.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you need several years of experience in design and project management within the construction and civil engineering industry. You also need a good understanding of construction technology, economics, and sustainability issues, as well as a relevant university degree in construction and civil engineering or equivalent experience.

As a person, you need to be responsible and have the ability to structure and plan your work independently. You are solution-oriented and have a strong focus on quality based on production needs. Having good communication skills and enjoying working in a team is essential as the role has many contact points both externally and internally.
