We are looking for a Mechanical Designer with experience in injection molded plastic design for an exciting assignment with our client.

In this role, you will be part of a development team where you will be responsible for both new development and product maintenance. Together with the team, you will work on a varied set of tasks and play a key role in the development process of mechanical designs.

Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Designer, your main responsibilities will include designing and developing new mechanical designs, primarily in injection molded plastic, for a robotic lawn mower. You will actively participate in root cause analyses, brainstorming sessions, and concept development. The role also includes setting requirements in a 3D environment, collaborating with suppliers, and being involved in planning and executing various work packages and testing together with the product lab.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have experience in the following:

• Design of mechanical parts in injection molded plastic.
• Experience in project work and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Good knowledge of Catia V5.
• Experience using JIRA, Smarteam, and Teamcenter.
• Ability to work structured and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Very good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written.

You will be employed as a consultant at Q and work full-time with our client in Jönköping. There is an opportunity for relocation for this assignment.
