About the Unit
The Logistics Unit, LogE, supports the other units of the garrison with workshops, technical training, service depots, and goods reception. The unit provides other activities within Eksjö Garrison with materiel and supplies and stores materiel and other supplies for the garrison's combat units.
The position of teacher for army materiel/materiel officer is located in the Technical System Support Section, TSS, which is part of LogE's technical department.
Main Responsibilities
The content of the tasks will be varied; for example, you will plan and conduct technical training on the garrison's materiel such as wheel loaders, bridge systems, and tracked vehicles together with technical officers, as well as basic technology such as hydraulics, vehicle electronics, engine technology, and basic workshop technology. The students can be both conscripts undergoing military basic training and employed personnel. Furthermore, you will be involved in carrying out maintenance, inventory, and reporting of the section's materiel, participate in developing training on new materiel, and provide practical support during training and exercises in field environments.
The tasks may evolve over time, and the work is primarily conducted at Ing 2 in Eksjö, but work at other locations may occur for shorter periods.
Qualifications
Requirements for the Position
- High school diploma with a focus on vehicle technology or equivalent knowledge assessed as comparable by the employer
- Driver's license B
- Good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing
- Good knowledge of MS Office package

Meritorious
- Experience with the Armed Forces
- Experience as an instructor/trainer in vehicle technology
- Vehicle technician, preferably with several years of work experience
- Driver's license C, CE, and certification for wheel loader operation
- Knowledge of existing support systems, e.g., SAP/PRIO
