At Källskolan, we work with an extended basic staffing.

For the next school year, we are looking for two dedicated primary school teachers for grade 1 in Norberg.

The school actively works with value-based education and we have the privilege of having playground supervisors outside on the schoolyard. The after-school program is responsible for daily recess activities. Källskolan has a well-developed student health service.

Job Description

This autumn, you will work as a class teacher in grade 1. You are a clear leader who sets boundaries and has high expectations for the students. You create situations in the classroom where students succeed in developing their abilities with good results. Experience in structured reading and writing instruction is preferred. The school has initiated a reading promotion project that will continue into the next school year.

At Källskolan, teachers and educators work in teams where they collaboratively drive the educational activities. Professional development occurs through collegial learning. We use Quiculum as a communication channel with guardians and for assessing students.

Some of the central tasks include:

• Plan and implement teaching in accordance with the curriculum and current research. Assess and follow up on students' development and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, special educators, and other staff to ensure a holistic view of students' learning and well-being at school.
• Create and promote a safe and inspiring learning environment for all students.
• Actively participate in the school's development work and work together with colleagues to continuously develop and improve teaching.
• Work to establish good and ongoing contact with guardians.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is qualified to teach students in grades F-3. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You are a person who takes the children's perspective in all situations and works based on the values of the curriculum. Whether you have experience or are newly graduated, you will receive support and assistance from your team, special educators, student health, and the principal. Personal suitability is of great importance.

This is a temporary position for one school year, but it may be extended.
