At the School of Health, Care, and Welfare, our students are training to become behavioral scientists, public health scientists, physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, and specialist nurses. Job Responsibilities

This project evaluates the Public Health Agency's implementation support "Succeeding with Implementation in the Public Health Area" to understand how the material is used and functions in practice. You will play an important role in the project's implementation with a focus on data collection through interviews, recruiting participants, and participating in analyses. The project is a collaboration with the Public Health Agency and contributes to strengthening implementation efforts in the public health area in Sweden.

Together with the project's researchers, you, as a student at MDU, will participate in several of the components involved in the research. Your tasks include participating in:

  • data collection through interviews and surveys
  • recruiting participants for the study
  • descriptive analyses of collected material
  • handling administrative tasks related to the project
  • communication with participating organizations

Eligibility Requirements/Qualifications

Only those who are admitted to undergraduate or graduate education at MDU can be employed as a student assistant. Employment as a student assistant is regulated by the Higher Education Ordinance Chapter 5 § 8-12.

Further eligibility requirements for the position are:

  • Ongoing higher education in a relevant field (e.g., a social science or public health subject or equivalent)
  • Very good ability to express oneself in speech and writing in Swedish and English

Since the tasks involve participating with researchers in the various tasks that occur in the research project, experience with such tasks is advantageous. This includes experience in recruiting participants and conducting data collections using interviews and/or surveys. Experience in project work or project administration of other types of projects is also advantageous.
