The psychologists in parental and child health care have a county-wide operation with clinics in Växjö and Ljungby and are organized within Family Health, Primary Care. Together, we work towards the goal of 'the best for children in Kronoberg'. In addition to parental and child health care psychologists, Family Health also includes child and youth health care for children and adolescents with mental health issues aged 6-18 years and child speech therapists. In total, we are about 45 fantastic employees working for children and adolescents and their families.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to complement our group of psychologists within parental and child health care and be part of our fun work! Working as a psychologist with us means a broad assignment aimed at children aged 0-6 years and their families/parents as well as expectant parents. The breadth includes assessments, psychoeducation, talk therapy, and preventive, promotional tasks, etc. The preventive work primarily involves providing guidance, training, and consultation to staff within maternal and child health care. A large part of the work occurs in individual contacts, but we also offer group interventions. Our referrers are primarily staff within the county's child health care and maternal care.

We can offer an interesting, varied, and independent job with good support from colleagues in the same workplace. There are currently overarching change processes underway within the care chain for children aged 0-6 years in the region as a whole. What this will mean for our part within the care chain will become clearer later in the spring.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed psychologist. Competence and experience in time-limited psychotherapeutic treatment contacts, consultation, supervision, assessment, as well as work with expectant/new parents and small children are meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A driving license is required as travel throughout the county is included in the position. Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
