District Nurse at Praktikertjänst Ljungby Health Center

Praktikertjänst Ljungby Health Center is looking for a district nurse to join our family-oriented health center located in the heart of the city.

Job Responsibilities

As a district nurse with us, you will:

• Perform standard district nursing tasks including patient visits, triage, digital/telephone advice, infusions, vaccinations, and wound dressings, etc.
• Contribute to the clinic's administrative tasks and smooth operations.
• Communicate with other healthcare providers regarding patient care and welfare.
• Participate in daily short clinic meetings where we share knowledge and stay updated together.

About the Workplace

We are a small, family-oriented health center located in the city center. Our team includes doctors, district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, a CBT therapist, (physiotherapist vacant position), BVC nurse, and medical secretaries working closely together in an open climate where we can consult and learn from each other. We operate on behalf of the healthcare choice in Region Kronoberg.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed district nurse, preferably with experience in primary care. Further education in diabetes is an advantage. Experience with the Cambio Cosmic journal system is a plus, but not a requirement. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is essential.

Additional Information

• Praktikertjänst Ljungby Health Center will soon move to newly built premises in the city center.
• The clinic's opening hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00.
• Starting employment rate is 100%, but this can be discussed.
