The Unit for Individual and Family Care is a shared workplace where authority exercises within the Social Services Act, LVU, and LVM are included. The operations consist of; Children and Youth, Financial Assistance, Family Law, Adults, and Foster Care. We are looking for someone who will work with the administration of financial assistance. You will be part of a team of 13 caseworkers, one senior social worker, and one unit manager. We need you to contribute knowledge and joy to our unit. In the unit, we help each other succeed in our mission and together contribute to a good workplace.

Job Responsibilities

The main task as a caseworker in financial assistance is to support, motivate, and investigate individuals' conditions on their path to self-sufficiency while administering the right to financial assistance according to the Social Services Act. The role includes regular contacts with both individuals and internal and external collaboration partners.

The area of operations also includes the administration of housing procurement and domestic violence.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work/Social Care program or another academic education that the employer deems adequate. We expect you to have good investigative and documentation skills and to express yourself well in both speech and writing. A driver's license (B) is required. As a person, you are stable, self-driven, and structured. You are professional in your role and have a good demeanor as well as strong collaboration skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience in social work with the administration of financial assistance and knowledge of the Social Services Act, as well as experience with the operational system Pulsen Combine.

We offer you a fixed-term employment for 6 months full-time, with the possibility of extension. Start as soon as possible according to agreement.

Working hours are daytime, Monday – Friday. There is an opportunity for some remote work.
