Pajala Municipality is looking for a female personal assistant in Pajala central to assist a 28-year-old girl with disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable person who wants to be part of our well-functioning team and contribute to a person's ability to live a rich life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a personal assistant, you will be part of the team around the user where collaboration, responsibility, flexibility, and working based on the user's focus and wishes are highly valued. All tasks are performed by two assistants. The work is very flexible to plan and carry out, such as trips, outings, and activities. The job includes light lifting and transfers. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Personal assistance is fundamentally about engagement for another person who needs help with the everyday tasks that many take for granted, such as dressing, cooking, mobility, communication, taking a walk, and generally making everyday life work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and suitability. You should be calm, work well in a team, and have a positive and encouraging attitude. We prefer that you have care, educational, or other equivalent education assessed by the employer, or previous experience in healthcare and social care. A B driver's license is desirable.
