Logistics Engineer

Your Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the analyses ensuring that our surface vessels have high availability and operational reliability. The work involves conducting reliability, maintenance, and life cycle cost analyses, developing maintenance plans, and sizing spare parts. The work is primarily conducted during the vessel's design and construction phase. Once the vessels are operational, you will support the customer with analysis work, for example, when modifications are needed. The analysis work requires an understanding of the vessel's technical functions and its usage, which is why you will work closely with system developers and designers. You will also interact with customers, users, and suppliers, which requires your social and adaptable skills.

ILS Surface Ships ensures that the vessel's various systems and components function well, are easy to maintain, have spare parts, tools, and documentation, and last but not least, that the crew has the right training. Our operations are based in Karlskrona, so this position is located there.

Your Profile

As a person, you are meticulous with a structured approach to work, and we see that you have an analytical mindset. Since we work in teams, we want you to be social and experienced in project work. You have the ability to see the big picture as well as delve into details where necessary.

Your Qualifications

• Engineer - BSc /MSc
• At least 3 years of experience in one of the following areas: Technical Information, Logistics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Development Engineering
• Excellent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• LSAR, Windchill Quality Solutions (Relex), Creo
• Advanced level in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
• Added value if you have a military background or have completed military service

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
