Job Description

AFRY in Karlshamn is in an expansive phase and wants to expand the team with more experienced piping and plant designers. As a consultant with us, you will be part of a cutting-edge company with great opportunities for development, while also having a lot of fun at work. As a piping and plant designer at AFRY, you will work on the design of industrial facilities and products, which includes feasibility studies and investigations, pre-projects and procurements, preparation of tender documents for piping installations, process optimization, flow diagrams and equipment lists, layouts, isometrics, material specifications, as well as calculations and cost estimates.

We primarily work within the process industry, nuclear power, and oil and gas, but also the paper and pulp industry and combined heat and power are part of our customer segment. Projects vary in both size and content and are usually carried out on-site at our clients, but sometimes also in our own facilities. We are looking for someone with experience in piping and plant design who wants to develop and sees the consulting role as an opportunity to do so. Qualifications

We prefer that you have at least two years of experience in piping and plant design within the process industry, knowledge of some CAD tools such as Plant 3D, Aveva PDMS/E3D, Cadmatic, and/or AutoCAD 2D, as well as good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is required as travel to client companies throughout the region is common. It is an advantage if you have experience in managing your own projects and a background in the process industry or paper mill industry.

You will belong to AFRY's division Industrial and Digital Solutions and work in our local organization in the southeast.
