About the role:

As a Detail Preparator, you will play a key role in the development and integration of new technical solutions. You will work closely with both designers and production teams to create work orders based on production documentation and plan for efficient production execution. Your role spans multiple functional interfaces, and you will regularly collaborate with technical preparators, production engineers, and production staff to ensure that each project moves forward in the best possible way.

In your daily work, you will also support production during the startup of the work, which means you will truly see your technical solutions come to life. You will work on both new construction and modernization projects and help develop and implement solutions for advanced submarines and surface vessels.

Examples of tasks:

  • Create work orders and plan production execution based on production documentation.
  • Support production during the startup of the work to ensure efficient manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with technical preparators, production engineers, and designers to find optimal solutions.
  • Work on both new construction and modernization projects within marine technology.
  • Ensure that all solutions meet both technical and production requirements.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology who enjoys working cross-functionally to solve complex problems. You are a relationship-building and curious person who wants to optimize and streamline production work. You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong technical interest and a curious approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience from the marine industry, process, or manufacturing industry within pipe production.
  • Experience with large-scale and complex development projects and operations.
  • Experience in construction and preparation of production documentation.
