Café Assistant/ Barista

In the heart of the pedestrian street in central Varberg, you will find Kassett coffee, kitchen & bar since 2007. A natural meeting place for everyone who enjoys really good coffee, wants to relax for a while, have a snack, or enjoy a beer/glass of wine and a bite to eat. In a unique venue built in the late 1700s, we combine café, restaurant & bar (with full rights), with loose coffee & tea, chocolate, biscuits, etc.

What can we offer?

We are now looking for a new team member. With us, everyone does everything in the form of serving customers in the best way at the cash register, serving, preparing coffee behind the espresso machine, preparing and making simple salads and dishes, etc. In addition, everyone is collectively responsible for keeping the café clean and tidy.

Who are you?

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in a café or restaurant. A big plus is if you have previously worked as a barista. But most importantly, you are a positive and service-oriented person who is willing to give our customers that little extra in all situations, even when it’s busy. Since we have full alcohol rights, we prefer that you applying are over 20 years old, but it is not a requirement.

About the position

The position varies between 3-5 days/week depending on the season, with the absolute peak season being in the summer. Start date is in May. A later start date can be discussed.
