What does the role of Conference Service Staff entail?

In the Meeting & Event area, you will work in the operation of meetings and events. You are the spider in the web ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You will go through the arrival list and focus on the details, ensuring that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You will also work with the furnishing of meeting rooms and the serving of snacks and lunches. The focus is on creating an unforgettable stay and meeting experience!

Meet and be available for the guest with innovative and personal service. Prepare our buffets in accordance with our concepts and keep them fulfilled and inviting. Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment and maintain good communication between colleagues and departments. Keep your workspace clean and fresh and follow routines regarding ecological and certified products as well as waste sorting.

You have serving experience and appreciate order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to provide our guests with a fantastic meeting experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and drinks and perform minor administrative work.

You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one.

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests and have the ability to sell.

You also have experience and knowledge in working with a computer as a work tool. You are familiar with Simphony and Opera and have broad knowledge and experience in hotels and F&B.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, that is an advantage.

However, the most important are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

The position is a permanent part-time employment.

Working hours vary between early mornings and late evenings, including weekdays and weekends.
