We are now looking for a Receptionist for Extra on Demand at Scandic Skärholmen & Scandic Kungens Kurva.

Our guests often book rooms with short notice, which means we frequently need extra help at the reception on short notice. You will act as a host together with the rest of the team at both hotels and create a world-class guest experience.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You are the first person guests meet and always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, where you meet most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security tasks, and sales work.

Working at the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You will handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotels are open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle multiple tasks happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with computers as a tool.

You are flexible as our needs often arise on short notice.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.

However, the most important factors are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit this role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

The position is a temporary employment for occasional days on an as-needed basis, and you are expected to be available for both hotels.

The position may develop into a permanent part-time position in the future, and there are great opportunities for you to work in the summer.

The job includes morning and afternoon shifts, weekdays, and weekends. Start date is negotiable but preferably as soon as possible.
