Care Assistant at Isabellagården 1

Are you a positive care assistant who is committed to ensuring that our elderly have access to the right care and support? Then you are the one we are looking for!

Isabellagården 1 is a special accommodation for the elderly with dementia. We are close to nature as well as to the central parts of Strängnäs. The unit consists of 41 apartments divided into four housing groups. One of the housing groups has 3 apartments designated for residents with BPSD issues. Isabellagården has a large courtyard and pleasant outdoor areas, as well as a dance floor and a large common room where we hold joint activities.

Currently, two colleagues working night shifts are absent, and we are therefore looking for two substitutes at 85%, starting from April 1, 2025, for six months with a possibility of extension. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working in special accommodation for the elderly with a focus on dementia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your basic job responsibilities will be to plan and provide good care and support based on our residents' needs and wishes. Our residents' needs are at the center, and we strive to offer them a meaningful life.

The work also includes delegated health and medical care tasks as well as documentation. Mobile phones and computers are used as daily work tools, and we actively work with digitalization. The work with us is varied, allowing you to develop your skills within the profession.

The working hours are scheduled for nights with work every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• trained as a care assistant,
• good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing,
• good IT skills,
• previous experience and knowledge of dementia.

Experience with outwardly aggressive behavior is considered an advantage.
