Since the position is a seasonal employment over the summer, we wish for you to be available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Motala/Mjölby, you will be part of a close-knit team of 75 people. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts, and the working hours are mainly at night. Working every other weekend is common.

As a patrolling guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings from fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with great responsibility.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civil or military security guard training

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as an applicant, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
