We are now looking for a Head Waiter for our Banquet & Event department.

What does the role of Head Waiter for Banquet & Event entail?

As a head waiter with us, you are one of the first people the guest meets, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a passion for food and drink and appreciate order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to provide our guests with a fantastic experience.

In the role, you primarily work in operations, leading and distributing work and managing staffing during your shift. An important part of the job is to plan and execute banquets and events, working independently and in close collaboration with the responsible manager.

If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and assist with certain administrative tasks such as orders and checking delivery notes.

In the role of Head Waiter, you are responsible for hospitality for the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of operations, you have overall responsibility for prioritizing tasks so that the business runs smoothly and guests are satisfied.

Who are you?

To fit the role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in a similar position and experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and the willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and possess integrity and a sales drive. However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, and we apply a 6-month probationary period.
