Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We have a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we tailor our offerings based on the needs of the residents. Already, we offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Are you a junior doctor with an interest in primary care? Then you could be our new colleague. We offer a 6-month fixed-term full-time position starting by agreement, with the possibility of a future ST position. You will have great opportunities to help develop tomorrow's working methods within our organization, including through teamwork with various professional groups.

Your mission

With us, you will have a varied job in close collaboration with all professions at the health center. Your tasks mainly consist of outpatient work with varied assignments. Together, we work for the health of the residents!

Your competence

We are looking for someone with a Swedish medical license, preferably with experience in primary care and a future interest in developing within general medicine. You possess a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, have a good understanding of the Swedish healthcare system, and see good patient interaction as one of your most important tools in patient meetings. Furthermore, you have a desire to develop the operations together with other employees at the health center.

Our operations

Fålhagen Health Center is centrally located in one of Uppsala's most attractive areas, close to the transport center and belongs to the department of Close Care and Health in Region Uppsala. We are over thirty employees responsible for around 10,000 registered patients. At the health center, all professions work together to provide the best possible care for patients. To meet our patients' varying needs and wishes, we are open weekdays from 7 AM to 5 PM.

We constantly strive to find good forms of collaboration at the health center and to meet our patients' needs in a curious and person-centered way. We want the general medical approach to characterize everything we do.
