Linné and Nora are located in Sävja in a calm and beautiful environment, with the forest as a close neighbor, about 5 kilometers south of Uppsala. Linné is a care and nursing home with 40 apartments spread over 2 floors. 20 places are for nursing care and 20 places are for dementia care. On floors 3 and 4, Nora has a total of 40 places for respite care and short-term care for patients with dementia diagnosis or cognitive impairment. Patients come either from the hospital or home. The health and medical care needs vary among patients, and an individual assessment is always made.

Organizationally, you will belong to the health and medical care department within the care and nursing administration, which means you have close access to a large group of licensed colleagues and that your immediate supervisor is also licensed. As a nurse at Linné or Nora, you will work daytime and be part of a large team consisting of occupational and physiotherapists, nursing staff, and the manager of each residence.

Your assignment

As a physiotherapist, you will work closely with patients and their families. You will collaborate with occupational therapists, nurses, nursing staff, housing support, case managers, and internal and external colleagues. The work involves being responsible for investigations, assessments, equipment prescriptions, treatments, and follow-ups within the physiotherapist's professional area.

Your background

We are looking for someone who has education as a physiotherapist. We would prefer you to have experience working in the municipality. If you have knowledge of Lifecare, it is considered an advantage.

As a person, you take initiative and start activities to achieve results. You have good pedagogical skills and an understanding of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge. The job suits you if you find it easy to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and flexible manner.
