To ensure your comfort, each shift will be staffed with an experienced nurse during your first 6 months. We also have a well-developed onboarding program where you will have scheduled training each month with child-specific knowledge that you need in your work. Since we at the children's clinic collaborate closely, there are great opportunities for you to try out what it’s like to be a nurse in, for example, the children's emergency department or neonatal unit while working with us. Several of our staff rotate between units.

Job Description

We are investing for the future and are looking for nurses who want to work to provide our children and families with safe and secure care and the best treatment. As a nurse in the children's and youth department, you will work in a team with child nurses and doctors. You will also collaborate closely with other professionals within the clinic, from social workers to hospital clowns. The children's and youth department is an exciting workplace where you will meet children and young people aged 0-18 with medical, surgical, and orthopedic illnesses. We work with child-adapted care and have a strong focus on quality and improvement work.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse. If you have specialized training as a pediatric nurse, this is an advantage, as is experience working with children and young people. Good Swedish in both speech and writing is a requirement.

You have a strong interest in working with children, young people, and their families. As a person, you are secure, stable, and self-aware. You easily adapt to different situations and have the courage to act according to your own convictions. You are good at communicating, empathetic, and attentive. The work requires you to have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. It is essential that you have good collaboration skills and contribute with a positive and professional attitude in your work. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
