About the role of property technician

As a property technician, you play an important role for our tenants and are an ambassador for Rikshem in our residential areas. You are there when the tenant needs us. You are responsible for incoming reports of faults, inspections, and rounds of your properties. You plan and organize your work based on Rikshem's routines and processes in close collaboration with property managers and all other colleagues in your team.

A typical week at work:

• you perform corrective repairs and maintenance
• you have daily contact with our tenants
• you communicate with and are responsible for following up on our contractors
• you conduct rounds and ensure that our property areas look good
• you carry out apartment inspections
• you place orders for maintenance as needed and follow up on completed work
• you work on energy efficiency and review technical systems in the building

For you to succeed in the role, we believe that...

You enjoy having contact with people, are service-oriented, and have a professional approach to customer interactions. You like to create comfort and trust in your interactions with our tenants. You are solution-oriented and have the ability to plan and structure your everyday life effectively.

When it comes to experience and skills, we are looking for someone who has:

• several years of work experience in construction or property management or a related technical field
• a basic understanding of property management/technology
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing as well as basic knowledge of English
• good computer skills and the ability to familiarize yourself with digital systems
• a B driver's license

It is a plus if you have:

• post-secondary education in property technology
• understanding of energy efficiency
• previous experience in electrical, plumbing, or appliances
• experience with the business system Vitec
