Your Role as a Wind Turbine Technician

We are an engaged team spread across Falkenberg and Storuman and are facing exciting opportunities. We are expanding our operations and are therefore looking for two wind turbine technicians who can form a team in the Storrun wind farm.

In the role of Wind Turbine Technician, you will work in a team of at least two, focusing primarily on maintenance and troubleshooting of wind turbines. If you are curious and want to develop, there is also an opportunity to explore more in the industry beyond performing services at one location. This may involve participating in various projects and special assignments within the wind power industry, which will include travel and overnight stays.

Examples of tasks:

• Troubleshooting on wind turbines within control and regulation technology, electrical engineering, mechanics, and hydraulics
• Ongoing and periodic maintenance
• Preventive and corrective measures
• Documentation of troubleshooting/error handling in SAP and other documentation systems

Requirements

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with others and sees collaboration as a success factor. You are flexible, good at communicating, and can navigate through situations that are not always clear-cut.

Independence is a significant part of the job and is essential for moving the work forward. Therefore, we are looking for someone who takes responsibility and has a strong commitment to their assignments. At Vattenfall Services, safety always comes first, so we expect you to have a high safety awareness and prioritize safety in all work tasks! We place great importance on your personal qualities.

We know that you will develop with us. However, we would like you to already have:

• At least a high school diploma, preferably in electrical engineering, or relevant work experience in electrical/mechanical fields
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as basic computer skills

It is an advantage if you have further education or have worked as a wind turbine technician before.
