Your new job

We are currently looking for a property technician for the property department at the Technical Office.

You will belong to a unit that primarily works with cultural and commercial properties as well as housing.

In this role, you will have significant responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the property's technical systems. You will ensure that the systems function according to the property owner's requirements and the tenants' expectations. In your daily work, you will troubleshoot and determine whether you can carry out the repair yourself or if a specialist is needed.

The role involves many contacts, both internally and externally, which means you thrive in social settings. You contribute to creating and maintaining good relationships with tenants and businesses in the municipality's properties. Since our workflows are digitized, good computer skills are a prerequisite.

Your qualifications

Requirements:

• Education as an operations and property technician or relevant work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Good technical understanding of the operation and maintenance of properties.
• Ability to work with administrative support systems in a digital work environment.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license B (manual transmission).

Meritorious:

• Experience of similar tasks within a property business.
• Further education in property technology, such as facility manager for fire alarms and hot work.
• Specialist knowledge in electricity, plumbing, or control and regulation technology.
• Familiarity with modern property systems and technologies.

Personal abilities:

• Self-driven and responsible with the ability to manage your own tasks.
• Good collaboration skills and a service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to create and maintain good customer relationships.
• Flexible, with the ability to plan and structure.
• Open to exchanging experiences and eager to share knowledge.

The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a start date according to agreement and includes on-call duty. Selection and interviews are ongoing, which means that the position may be filled before the application period has ended.
