Your Responsibilities

As an urban planner in Leksand, you will be responsible for and drive your own planning assignments through the entire planning process from vision to finished planning proposal, and you will work on many exciting and challenging tasks. You will primarily work with detailed planning but also with issues related to the municipality's comprehensive planning.

You are an important part of community development in Leksand Municipality and work closely with your colleagues in detailed and comprehensive planning, land and development, urban development, etc. External contacts with the public, developers, and politicians are part of your daily routine.

The Position

The position is a temporary employment until June 2026, with a possibility of extension, and encompasses 100%. Start date is according to agreement. We apply individual salary setting.

Your Profile

• You have a degree as a planning architect, landscape architect, urban planner, or equivalent with a focus on physical planning and several years of experience working as an urban planner. Personal suitability is highly valued.
• A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.

About the Workplace

The sector consists of seven departments: planning and geodata, strategic planning, business, authority, property and development, culture, and leisure, and we are approximately 75 employees in total. Within the planning and geodata department, we are 9 employees and a manager who work collaboratively on our assignments.
