In addition, we provide recycling services for materials - including solutions for plastics, metals, as well as ash and slag residues. We employ approximately 900 competent and engaged employees.

Fortum Recycling & Waste has recently been acquired by Summa Equity through its portfolio company NG Group, and this position is part of our organizational consolidation for the future. Let’s seize this new opportunity together!

About the Role

As a Sales Manager, your geographical sales area will primarily be central Sweden, but since Fortum Recycling & Waste – Part of NG Group is represented throughout the country, we work from a national perspective. Your customers will be from various industries, and you will be selling solutions for different types of waste, with hazardous waste being the natural focus area.

You will independently drive your business and be responsible for both new customers that will eventually develop into long-term customer relationships, as well as existing established customers. All sales work is done in close collaboration with the company's other organization. The focus is to ensure value-creating solutions for customers and strengthen the company's market position and drive profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the entire sales process, including planning, follow-up, and development of both new and existing customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities while establishing and developing long-term customer relationships to drive business and profitability.
  • Responsible for bids and quotes, negotiations, contract management, and participating in procurements.
  • Monitor the market to offer market- and customer-oriented value-adding services.
  • Create various types of forecasts upon request when needed.
  • Provide input and initiate proposals for improvement and change.
  • Ensure high-quality and service standards in all contacts that provide customer value.

Your days will mainly consist of processing customers, which is why primarily day trips are included in the assignment. Of course, a company car is included in the position. You will be part of a sales team that works from various locations in the country, but it is an advantage if you are located in the Mälardalen region, Västra Götaland, or Stockholm/Uppsala.

Who Are You?

We believe you have several years of experience in B2B sales and are therefore very accustomed to independently driving business processes from start to finish. If you have experience in sales within waste management, chemistry, or recycling, that is a significant plus, but we also believe you may come from another type of service sales and are genuinely curious about the waste and recycling industry. We value that you have post-secondary education, where relevant academic education is strongly meritorious.

You have a business-oriented mindset, proven good sales results, and an understanding of what it means to work with tailored solutions that create added value for the customer. You have experience working in business systems and good knowledge of both Swedish and English.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. We particularly value that you have a strong drive and are motivated by meeting new customers and presenting your offer in a credible and professional manner. Your drive is demonstrated through high service awareness, ambition, and positive energy that also contributes to a good atmosphere in the team. Furthermore, it is essential that you are communicative and understand that collaboration is often the key to success.

Your Offer

With us, you will join a leading company in the recycling industry with extensive experience in recycling and hazardous waste treatment. You will work alongside many skilled colleagues with great expertise in handling hazardous waste and recycling processes. Here, you will have significant influence over your tasks and excellent opportunities to develop your personal competence, paving the way for a meaningful and stimulating career.

We are committed to supporting you on this journey and fostering an environment where diversity and inclusion drive innovation and collaboration. We offer good benefits, an active staff association with many social activities, and access to a training facility on-site. With us, you will have the opportunity to thrive and develop in a workplace that values your well-being and personal development.

The employment is full-time, and the salary depends on qualifications.
