The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, pedagogical care, after-school programs, preschool classes, primary school, adapted primary school, high school, adapted high school, municipal adult education, special education for adults, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth centers, and cultural schools.

Preschool and after-school activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, geographically spread throughout the municipality.

Altorpskolan, which is the municipality's only 7-9 school, receives students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. The Knowledge Source, the municipality's high school, is also located in the Herrljunga locality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching teacher in adapted primary school for grades 7-9, Altorpskolan.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher for teaching in adapted primary school.

As a teacher, you are engaged and a clear leader in the classroom. You are structured, flexible, and see collaboration as a natural prerequisite for the development of the organization. You have experience in organizing accessible learning environments.

We want you to be a person who takes the student’s perspective in all situations and upholds the values of the curriculum. You are expected to be well acquainted with applicable governing documents and open to collaboration. You see digital tools as natural aids and an obvious part of teaching. A positive attitude is important to us, and we place great emphasis on personal qualities.

We would prefer that you have a special education degree with qualifications in adapted primary school, but we also welcome other applicants with broad subject qualifications and solid teaching experience.
