Job Responsibilities

As a CNC operator at Kongsberg Automotive, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality components for heavy vehicles. At our factory in Ljungsarp, we focus on manufacturing steering columns, steering shafts, and pedals, as well as components that play a central role in the safety and functionality of vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Machining of parts, including material handling, preparation, machine setup, and precision machining.
• Adjusting or programming machines to achieve the desired tolerance and surface finish.
• Monitoring machines and production according to drawings and specifications.
• Conducting quality controls through measurements and documentation.
• Regular maintenance of machines to avoid downtime and ensure high production quality.

Scope: Full-time
Working hours: Daytime
Location: Ljungsarp
Employment type: Temp-to-hire with a good chance of permanent employment with the client company.

Background and Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant education, such as from an industrial program or workshop technical training.
• Has experience with CNC, lathe, and milling machines and has previously worked in a workshop environment.
• Is skilled in reading drawings, cutting machining, and has good measurement skills.
• Is proficient in Swedish and English.
• Has programmed Mazak or similar CNC machines.
