Sales Manager at Coop Höör

As a Sales Manager at Coop Höör, you will be part of the store's management team. In addition to your responsibility for the dry goods flow in the store, you will share a common responsibility for the business plan, sales, and results with the other members of the management team.

As a Sales Manager, you play a significant role where we see you as the natural leader and culture bearer who shows the way forward. By being a role model for your salespeople, you inspire them to perform at their best every day. The role of Sales Manager at Coop includes personnel planning, business acumen, and following up on concepts and routines, all to create an efficient operation. The most central part of the job involves leading and coaching your employees to create a good working environment. For this role, you will either be responsible for dry goods or fresh produce.

Customers in our stores should not only be met with good products at good prices; we also want them to experience culinary inspiration, interesting events, surprises, and above all, receive a good personal greeting from all our staff every day. Real success is built on our love for our jobs and showing genuine care and joy for our customers!

In addition to this, the following tasks are also included in your role:

  • Follow and improve local and central routines
  • Budget, follow-up & forecasts, and follow up on the local action plan based on set key figures
  • Leadership with the customer in focus
  • Lead, coach & develop employees, and identify talents
  • Conduct and follow up on employee conversations and goal discussions
  • Work with Coop's common values and culture
  • Ensure that laws, regulations, agreements & policies are followed in the store
  • Quality work, SAM (Systematic Work Environment) and SBA (Systematic Fire Protection Work)
  • Implement central initiatives & decisions
  • Planograms & Revisions
  • Scheduling and staffing
  • Participate in the daily work in your department

The position is a permanent full-time employment, 40 hours per week, starting from 28/4 2025. A probationary period may be applied.

Education

  • High school education is a requirement
  • Post-secondary education or university in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience/competence

  • Experience and competence in retail sales is a requirement
  • Relevant leadership experience is a requirement
  • Relevant competence in the Office package is a requirement
  • Previous experience with store computer systems
