As one of our colleagues is about to go on parental leave, we are now looking for a temporary replacement!

Job Responsibilities

CA Fastigheter in Malmö owns and manages an area of 62,000 sqm distributed over 12 properties. The office has a team of 15 colleagues who together develop, operate, and manage the property portfolio.

As a Rental Agent, you will have a developing role with a lot of responsibility for renting out apartments, customer service, and other administrative tasks. You will be responsible for the rental of apartments and the entire flow from vacancy to contract signing with new tenants. Throughout the rental process, it is important to have a sense of service and to build good relationships. Furthermore, creating structure and appreciating order and tidiness through skilled administration is a success factor.

The tasks are varied and include, among others:

  • Publishing vacant apartments
  • Managing incoming applications
  • Inviting, booking, selecting for, and conducting apartment viewings
  • Assisting with the distribution and collection of all keys/access cards and maintaining the key register
  • Receiving visits from applicants and current tenants.
  • Handling questions and feedback from applicants and tenants, primarily via phone
  • Staffing the office during visiting hours and being responsible for phone and customer service
  • Compiling and sharing necessary information with tenants
  • Accounts receivable control and being responsible for billing disturbances, cleaning, keys, and other customer matters
  • Coding invoices and being responsible for rent adjustments, claims, reminders, and receivables
  • Assisting the team in Växjö with certain support systems and administrative tasks
  • Coordinating with others in the team regarding move-ins and move-outs
  • Contributing to the development of our residential areas together with others in the team

Other important but somewhat heavier administrative tasks included in the position are, for example, eviction cases, payment orders, documentation for the rent tribunal and district court, complaints and disputes between tenants, and mediation when needed, disturbance letters, as well as control and handling of illegal subletting.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with work experience from a similar role and at least a completed high school education. You have good knowledge of rental law and are a structured and meticulous administrator with good communication skills. Experience in customer care is an advantage. You are used to working independently with freedom under responsibility, planning and driving your day while being an unpretentious team player.

We place great importance on your personality, as you will meet many tenants under different circumstances that require good social skills. To communicate with our tenants, you must be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A driver's license (B) is required to move between our properties.

Start Date and Duration:

Temporary position for about 12 months with start date according to agreement.
