Team Leader/Supervisor in CNC Machining

We are looking for a driven and engaged team leader/supervisor for our client in the industrial sector.

About the Role

As a team leader in the machining department, you will be responsible for planning and directing the operational work in the CNC hall based on production planning. You will act as a link between production management and daily operations while also participating in production yourself. The role also includes responsibility for quality assurance, planning machining times, and mentoring new employees and interns. This position is a 6-month consultancy with the plan to transition into employment with the client after the period.

Currently, the work is done during the day, but the company aims to implement two shifts in the future.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Daily planning and management of production in the department;
• Ensuring that production planning is followed;
• Communicating the company's vision and rules to the team;
• Mentoring and supporting employees as well as introducing new colleagues;
• Ensuring that quality routines and safety regulations are followed;
• Maintaining contact with other departments and reporting improvement suggestions;
• Participating in daily production work.

About You

We are looking for an experienced CNC operator with leadership qualities. You are a responsive and unpretentious problem solver with a positive attitude and an interest in developing both yourself and your team.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Practical education in industry or equivalent experience
• Experience in a leadership position, such as a team leader
• Good computer skills and experience with CAM software, such as Edge or Gibbs
• Knowledge of CNC machining and reading technical drawings
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• - Ability to work north of Motala.

Meritorious:

• Forklift and overhead crane licenses
• Good knowledge of English

Conditions

- Start: immediately
- End: 6 months of consultancy with a plan to transition into employment with the client after the period.
