Data & Market Intelligence Analyst

SJR is now looking for an analytical and business-oriented Data & Market Intelligence Analyst with a strong interest in data and market insights for our client, a Nordic company with an office in Solna. This is a consulting assignment with an immediate start and a duration of 6 months.

About the Role

In this role, you will have a central function in managing product and master data as well as conducting business analyses and insight work. The purpose is to improve efficiency, create value, and optimize the performance of marketing functions in the Nordics. We are looking for someone who thrives in an operational role where you contribute to the development of the Nordic operations through data and analysis. You also have a precision that ensures all marketing complies with applicable legislation.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop categories and brand performance and support the organization with market insights.
• Develop, implement, and optimize standardized processes to improve collaboration within the marketing team and with other business units.
• Ensure high quality of product data and optimize related processes.
• Contribute to data-driven marketing strategy and campaign planning.
• Be responsible for product pricing management and master data for all product categories in the Nordics.
• Work cross-functionally between sales and marketing and collaborate with global business units.
• Optimize product category activities through market insights and analysis to achieve set goals.
• Ensure that marketing activities comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
• Explore and implement marketing automation tools to streamline workflows.

Suitable Background

• Experience working operationally with data analysis, business intelligence, and process optimization.
• High proficiency in SAP and Excel.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and business potential through analysis and data.
• Relevant university degree in areas such as process management, business and data administration, or marketing.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar operational role.
• Preferably knowledge of Nordic regulatory requirements in data and marketing.

• Good business understanding and commercial thinking.
• Analytical and strategic ability.
