As a Deli Manager, you will play an important role in the ongoing efforts to develop our store, while also being creative and creating a valued department and an attractive offering.

We are now looking for a Deli Manager for our retailer-owned store Hemköp Huddinge Centrum. The position is permanent, full-time, and starts with a probationary period. Scheduled working hours include days, evenings, and weekends.

Your Responsibilities With a focus on your own department, you are expected to be responsible for everything from orders to waste and gross profit – always keeping the customer experience in mind. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that the department's counters are clean and presentable. Naturally, you will work with sales, focus on product display, follow up on performance, and delegate tasks to your team members. You need to have good product knowledge and the drive to offer a fresh and appealing department every day of the week. In short, the role is about driving and developing the department to reach new heights. The role also includes production, where you will have the exciting task of creating a valued and modern offering of in-house produced products and dishes.

Our Expectations Being interested in food, good at driving sales, and enjoying working with people are prerequisites for the role. We prefer that you have previous experience working with meat and fish. To thrive with us, you should also be comfortable working in a team, be responsible, meticulous, and quality-conscious. It is important that you enjoy a fast-paced environment, but never at the expense of good customer service. As a person, you are positive, engaged in your work, a good leader, and have a sense for both details and the bigger picture.
