As a bridge designer with us, you will work with all project phases - from early investigations of possible bridge measures to the preparation of construction documents, load calculations, and reinforcement design of existing bridges. Our assignments vary from small local solutions to extensive national infrastructure projects. Here you will have the opportunity to develop, share your knowledge, and collaborate with knowledgeable colleagues both nationally and internationally.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

Modeling and drawing production:

• Create technical solutions in both 2D and 3D.
• Produce dimension drawings, reinforcement drawings, and other technical documentation.

Investigations and reports:

• Draft memos and technical investigations related to structures.
• Perform LCC analyses (life cycle cost analyses), impact assessments, and scheduling.
• Prepare AMA descriptions.

About you

We are looking for someone who takes initiative and is self-driven in their work, with the ability to take responsibility for the entire process from start to delivery. You are structured and organized, set realistic deadlines, and ensure that the work is delivered with high quality. Your collaboration and communication skills enable you to build good relationships that contribute to problem-solving, a positive work environment, and effective deliveries. With your business understanding, you see the bigger picture and can contribute to both long-term sustainability and profitability in our assignments.

Qualifications

• Approved engineering degree (master's or bachelor's level), for example:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Civil engineering or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in bridge and construction projects, either as a client, consultant, or contractor.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of CAD.

Meritorious

• Focus on structural courses in your degree.
• Experience in contracting.
• Experience in programming.
• Experience with Tekla.

Location and other information

We offer a permanent position at SYSTRA AB with a start date according to agreement, based at our office in Malmö or Helsingborg. We value flexibility and therefore offer the possibility of remote work a few days a week.
