About the position

In the role of industrial pipe layer, you will focus on repairing piping systems made of stainless steel and black metal. The tasks are varied and consist of 90% repairs of broken pipes and the remaining 10% of new construction of pipe structures in the workshop. You will work with different types of systems, such as district heating, district cooling, steam, condensate, and acid. As a person, you should enjoy working practically and have a genuine sense of craftsmanship. You like to solve problems with your hands and appreciate freedom under responsibility – with us, you will have the opportunity to plan and execute your work while contributing to a strong team and high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and locate leaks in piping systems – there is always something to repair!
• Assess the extent of the damage and how much of the pipe needs to be replaced.
• Dismantle and weld new pipe material in place.
• Assemble and install piping systems according to drawings and specifications.

To succeed in this role, it is important that you have:

• At least 3 years of work experience as a pipe layer in the industry.
• Welding skills in methods 141 and 111.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license B.
• Certificate for hot work.

Meritorious:

• Experience in plumbing.
• Knowledge of English.
• Lift certificate.
