About the job: We are looking for someone with documented experience as a kitchen assistant in larger units! We are currently seeking staff for assignments in lunch operations in Gothenburg and surrounding areas. The tasks mainly consist of:

• Assisting in cooking and preparing salad buffets, plating food, and portioning.
• Being able to peel/cut/chop vegetables/salad with precision and speed.
• Experience using larger kitchen machines safely and effectively.
• Preparing the dining room for service, serving food, and tidying up after service.
• Washing dishes and cleaning.
• Participating in the work with self-control.

• Since you often change workplaces, it is important that you have high social competence, are responsible, organized, and flexible.
• You speak and understand Swedish fluently – This means you should be able to understand and communicate information and instructions both verbally and in writing.
• You have at least two years of documented experience working in either a large kitchen or school kitchen as a kitchen assistant or cook.
• A valid extract from the criminal record.
• It is an advantage but not a requirement if you have some form of education from a hotel and restaurant school or a vocational training in the kitchen or as a meal assistant.
