Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be a key person for a larger development project within vehicle electronics. You will be responsible for setting the hardware standard for a new product and will work practically with development – not just in a purely leadership role.

Your responsibilities include:

• Establishing and owning methods, processes, and tools for electronics development.
• Being responsible for the product's electronic hardware throughout its lifecycle.
• Acting as a technical contact and driving collaboration with both external suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensuring that tough safety and quality requirements are met together with other electronics developers.

You will work as a consultant for one of our clients, which gives you the chance to contribute your expertise in an environment where both your technical knowledge and leadership skills are highly valued.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Extensive experience as an electronics engineer, preferably with experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience in design and verification of electronic hardware for automotive applications.
• Knowledge of safety-critical applications, for example through relevant standards.
• Experience with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, J1939).
• Familiarity with management systems such as ISO9001 or IATF 16949.
• Strong ability to lead smaller development teams and coordinate projects.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Background as a technical project manager or lead engineer.
• Experience working closely with R&D in medium-sized organizations.
• Ability to quickly identify solutions and manage complex requirements.
