Property Manager at Hässleholm Municipality

The Property Department is responsible for managing and developing the municipality's property portfolio as well as processing housing adaptation grants. The department has a total of 30 employees in various professional roles within property management, property maintenance, operational optimization, rental management, construction project management, system administration, work management, and housing adaptation.

What we offer you!

As a property manager with us, you will have maintenance and budget responsibility for part of our property portfolio, which consists of approximately 350,000 m² and about 100,000 m² of leased premises.

You will be part of a team with property managers, operational engineers, property engineers, construction project managers, property caretakers, technicians, and administrators. The role involves daily contact with colleagues, tenants, authorities, and contractors, where your relationship-building and service-oriented skills are crucial.

You will be responsible for updating maintenance plans and carrying out planned maintenance to maintain and develop the properties' functionality and value. The work is varied, and you have great opportunities to independently manage your tasks. You will work both individually and in close collaboration with the operations and construction units. You will also be responsible for registering and updating information in the municipality's property system, preparing and following up on budgets and financial forecasts. You will also be the contact person for property issues concerning the municipality's operations and ensure that the buildings meet current regulatory requirements.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary degree in engineering or property economics/management, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. We also see that you have at least two years of professional experience in property management. Since Hässleholm Municipality is large in area, you need a B driver's license to move around the municipality smoothly. You have good knowledge of the Office package and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as communication and documentation are part of the job. It is an advantage if you have experience working in Vitec or similar business systems.

You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team, while also being skilled at building and maintaining relationships. Your service-oriented attitude means you always have a natural desire to help others, and you have a business-minded approach that allows you to work systematically to achieve set goals.
