About the position

As a QHSE specialist with us, you play an important role in driving and supporting our operations in the industry regarding quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. Documentation, communication, coordination, and follow-up are all important aspects of the role. You enjoy traveling around the region and supporting the business in a coaching manner. The work aims to lead the way towards a healthy, safe, and sustainable VINAB.

Main responsibilities

• Actively support the organization's managers and employees in QHSE-related matters.
• Ensure that the organization operates according to applicable routines, laws, and requirements. Monitor and inform about changes, as well as interpret laws and regulations within the QHSE area.
• Drive and support the business in developing occupational health and safety plans, risk assessments, and internal company instructions, as well as in investigating accidents, incidents, and risk observations.
• Drive improvement work and follow-ups with customers together with relevant employees.
• Manage administration within the QHSE area, update and maintain templates, supporting documents, and internal guidelines.
• Develop QHSE training programs.
• Physically be out with our employees where work is being performed.

We are looking for someone who

• Has relevant post-secondary education in QHSE.
• Has education and/or deep knowledge of legislation regarding quality, environment, and occupational health and safety, as well as ISO certification.
• Has at least three years of experience in a similar position. Experience from the industry and its agreements is an advantage.
• Has good knowledge in quality, environment, occupational health and safety, health, improvement, and safety work.
• Has good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Russian or Finnish is considered an advantage.
• Has a valid driver's license (B).
• Has good computer skills (Office package). Knowledge of the IA system is considered an advantage.

You are solution-focused, communicative, and skilled at expressing yourself verbally and in writing, as well as understanding the importance of documentation. Additional information:

Location: Kiruna, Gällivare, Överkalix, or Luleå.

You will report to the HR manager and be part of a team together with Payroll and HR, which provides great opportunities for knowledge sharing and community.

Scope: This is a permanent full-time position. Travel is required for the job.
