About the role:

We are looking for a meticulous and structured accountant who will play a central role in our finance team. The position involves working with both accounts receivable, accounts payable, and client funds account management. You will ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and correctly, as well as contribute to improvements in our routines.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.

• Handle accounts payable, including processing supplier invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.

• Responsible for client funds accounts, including deposits, withdrawals, and ongoing reconciliations in accordance with applicable regulations.

• Perform monthly and annual closing reconciliations related to accounts and client funds.

• Ensure that payment flows and liquidity for client funds are managed correctly.

• Participate in the development and streamlining of processes within finance and accounting.

• Collaborate with other departments and ensure good internal and external communication regarding financial flows.

• Handle any reminders and collection cases as needed.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in finance/accounting or equivalent experience.

• Experience working with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and/or client funds accounts.

• Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping.

• Experience with financial systems and strong Excel skills.

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and structured in your work approach.

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and a good understanding of English.

Meritorious:

• Experience working in Fortnox.

• Previous work in an organization that handles client funds.
